Every year in September, as fall rolls in, I always remember how lucky I am to call a place home that most consider a tourist destination. This summer was definitely hard on the hospitality industry in the aftermath of the 416 Fire and a dry winter.
However, this past summer has been a time of gathering and rallying for Durango locals. The community jumped into action to assist in fire fighting efforts with donations to the Fire Department, the food bank, relief efforts, and more!
