Usually, I start my morning off with my favorite Nespresso machine at home. However, coffee shops are so convenient for meeting friends or clients. Also, let’s be honest Durango offers so many great options for a quick fix!

First, Smiley Building Café, tucked away off historic East 3rd Avenue, is a local gem. A cozy environment and great coffee are enough for me. They offer amazing freshly made baked goods, breakfast burritos and salad and sandwich lunch options too! The café even offers vegan and gluten free food. Can you see how the locals love it? For me, it’s a great spot to bring clients and friends for meetings with plenty of comfy seating.

11th Street Station, with a cool, 50’s-themed atmosphere, is new to the scene located on Main Avenue. There’s great coffee and espresso, and a bar for later on! It’s an all-day venue! You’ll love the atmosphere, and they have five local food trucks offering a great variety for lunch or dinner.

81301 Coffee House and Roasters is as local as it gets! Not only do they make amazing coffee, they offer a great space for meetings and socializing on North Main.  Talk about a great stop on the way to the ski slopes!

For on-the-go and gathering spaces, La Plata County homes several Durango Joe’s – now with three drive-thru locations. From coffee and drinks to burritos and salads, this local chain has it all!

Finally, of course, what’s a town without Starbucks? With two stand-alone locations and grocery store pop-ups, it is always convenient. The North Main Starbucks even has a drive-thru.

Durango is definitely a buzzing coffee town! I love the vibe of a great coffee shop. If you have any upcoming questions or want to get caught up on real estate, I’d love to meet you at one of these favorite places.
